We use eclectic approaches, which take parts of the numerous methodologies and apply what seems an excellent fit to your personality and one that motivates you to make the changes necessary to be the best you! We draw from Existentialism, Gestalt, Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychoanalytic.
We believe each person is unique and brings with them their unique challenges. Therefore, we do not believe in the adage that one size fits all. For example, some clients work well with a therapist who guides and directs them, assigns homework, and gives directives. In contrast, some may respond poorly to someone being directive and feel they work best with someone offering viewpoints to help determine what is best for them.
At TAG Family Wellness, we get to know you first, learn from your past life, and determine what caused the change in you. We match this with your personality type and develop goals and strategies to create the most effective plan to help you reach those mental health counseling or therapy goals needed to make the rest of your life the best and most mentally peaceful one!
